ReCore® is a true multi-purpose insulation. Available in different thicknesses and densities, it is ideal as acoustical insulation for panels, walls, and ceilings. It is unsurpassed as a tackable surface while simultaneously providing acoustical performance. It can also be used as ceiling tiles, as a duct liner and as a sound deadening medium below carpeting, tile, and wood flooring.
ReCore® is a revolutionary new substrate and insulation made from 100% polyester fiber with 65% post consumer content (recycled plastic beverage containers). It is unique in that while being environmentally friendly, it is both impact resistant and tackable while exhibiting excellent acoustical properties. ReCore® is semi-rigid, lightweight, and extremely resilient. It is dust free, contains no irritating fibers and does not promote mildew. Unlike standard yellow fiberglass insulation, ReCore® is free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including formaldehyde.
